The first MASAK has been installed in Switzerland, at Cryocenter Basel, a centre dedicated to recovery and wellness. Founded and directed by Angelo Lavanga, a former professional boxer, the centre now integrates MASAK for initial diagnosis and the evaluation of its programmes. This first installation in Switzerland marks a new step in the international development of MASAK among sports, health and wellness stakeholders.
Our MASAK medical device (Mental and Stress Assessment Kit) has just been recognised internationally at the European Spas Association (ESPA) congress. More than a trophy, it highlights the work of an entire team of researchers and physicians, now able to quantify the effectiveness of care pathways (spas, thermal resorts, wellness centres, thalassotherapy, and more).
We were delighted to receive the “Parlons Santé Mentale” label from the Ministry of Labour and Health at an event organised in collaboration with AMETRA06. When an occupational health service partners with an innovative mental-health medical device, it says a great deal about its ambitions and its determination to detect the first signs of mental and physical distress among employees and leaders.
C. Hausswirth was invited by Head of Medical, Dr. Hakim CHALABI, to a meeting on sports recovery. Physical trainers (led by Maxime Coulerot), physiotherapists, doctors, nutritionists and the staff are at the heart of this cross-functional project.
Early May marked the launch of our new study at Golf de la Grande Bastide (Châteauneuf-de-Grasse). Together with CAPSIX, we will study the effects of daily massages on recovery and performance of senior golfers (65 years). Thanks to Alexis Davet, golf director, for this welcome and collaboration.
Alexandre Coste and Geoffrey Millour were able to offer the European SPA world the chance to try our MASAK solution. It was an opportunity to exchange with major groups such as Valmont and La Prairie. Thanks to the organisers of this fine event.
